Visiting Notice

To ensure your visit quality and safety, please read these reminders and follow the staff instructions:

  1. To protect your safety and the exhibitions, check larger items (over 20*30*20 cm), such as large luggage, long umbrellas, or suitcases, strollers at the information desk or coin lockers. If you need small bags for your cash and valuables, please contact the information desk.
  2. Children (aged 0 – 12) enjoy free admission and require the companion of at least 1 adult with admission ticket. Each adult is allowed to accompany 2 children at most. Parents or guardians are asked to accompany their children throughout the visit. (Relevant identifications are required. Children without identifications may get free admission if they are measured under 90 cm in height, otherwise admission by ticket only. The age of each child is calculated on the date of visit in years from birth.)
  3. Photography is allowed, but no flashlights, tripods, selfie sticks, or videography. To protect intellectual property and copyrights, commercial photography please apply in advance.
  4. Please watch your steps and slow down your pace while visiting. Please do not step over some exhibits, in order to avoid personal injury and damage to the exhibits. Some interactive artworks may require guidance from the staff. If any damage to the works is caused, relevant responsibility will be borne.
  5. For optimal visitor experiences, please refrain from touching exhibits, raising voices, running, or sitting on the floor. Switch your phones to silent or vibration mode.
  6. No food, smoking, gums, betel nuts, illicit items, or dangerous objects.
  7. No pets, except for guide dogs.
  8. Information desk provides pencils if needed. Other stationaries are not allowed.
  9. If visitors need to leave temporarily, please ask for a stamp on the back of hand at information desk, and reenter with valid tickets on the same day.
  10. The museum may be closed for construction works, pandemic measure, or other extraordinary incidents. The latest information is updated on museum website.
  11. Addition notices may be announcement on site. Thanks for your cooperation, and apology to any inconvenience caused.
